PROCESS
Four steps from scrap to a good pallet.
Every step leaves a document — and every movement is recorded on your exchange account.
01 / ENQUIRY
State quantity and return
You tell us roughly how many defective pallets build up, which good pallets you want back and where we collect. On that basis we make you an offer with your exchange ratio.
02 / COLLECTION
We collect the defective pallets
Our own vehicles, an agreed slot, the loaded quantity signed off on the collection note.
03 / CREDIT
What arrives is what counts
At the plant we record the quantity actually received. It then appears on your exchange account — with its equivalent in good pallets at your agreed ratio.
04 / RETURN
Good pallets when you need them
We deliver class A or B pallets to your site, with a delivery note. Each delivery is debited from the exchange account.
Scrap turns into credit.
Defective pallets get in the way, and they are too good for the skip. With the pallet exchange you hand them over to us: we collect them, bring them back into the cycle at our plant — and you receive good pallets in return. This is not the one-for-one swap at the loading dock, but a separate account for your defective pallets. The ratio between defective pallets handed in and good pallets delivered is agreed with you. It applies from its date; a later change never applies retroactively to pallets you have already handed in.
Your exchange account — always in the portal.
Handing in and receiving good pallets do not have to happen on the same day. What you hand in under the agreed exchange is credited to your exchange account; what we deliver is debited from it. In the customer portal you see:
- ✓Your credit per pallet type — and how many good pallets your defective pallets correspond to.
- ✓Every collection and every delivery with date, quantity and document.
- ✓The exchange ratio agreed for you and since when it applies.
- ✓The history as CSV or PDF for your records.
Exchange or pooling?
- ✓Exchange — you hand in defective pallets and receive good ones. The pallets handed in become our property; the return in good pallets is kept on the exchange account.
- ✓Pooling — we collect your pallets, sort them and deliver them back to your sites. The goods remain yours; your pool account shows the balance per class.
Do you want your own pallets sorted and delivered back to your sites? That is our pooling service.
REQUEST AN EXCHANGE
Your exchange in four details.
We do not quote a flat ratio — you receive your exchange ratio with our offer. In the next step you only add your contact details.
TERMS
What determines your exchange ratio.
There is no single figure for everyone — the ratio is agreed per customer and recorded for your exchange account. Five factors decide it.
Request an exchange| Factor | Effect on the ratio |
|---|---|
| Pallets wanted in return | Class A is worth more than class B — the class you want back shifts the ratio. |
| Condition of the defective pallets | Lightly damaged pallets that can be repaired are worth more than pure scrap. |
| Quantity and rhythm | Regular, predictable quantities can be bundled into tours — which is reflected in your terms. |
| Location and access | Distance to the plant, truck access, and whether the goods are stacked and ready for a forklift. |
| Market situation | Timber prices and demand for good pallets fluctuate. A new ratio only applies from its date — never retroactively. |
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between exchange and pooling?+
With the exchange you hand in defective pallets and receive good ones — the pallets handed in become our property, the return is kept on the exchange account. With pooling the goods remain yours: we collect, sort and deliver back to your sites.
Which pallets do you accept for exchange?+
Defective EUR/EPAL pallets — pallets that can no longer circulate as they are. We are happy to clarify other types or mixed stock in your enquiry.
How many good pallets do I get for my defective ones?+
The ratio is agreed with you; it depends among other things on the condition of your pallets and on the pallets you want in return. It is stored for your exchange account and applies from its date — a later change is never retroactive.
Do handing in and delivery have to happen on the same day?+
No. Your defective pallets handed in are held as credit on your exchange account. We agree the timing of the good pallets with you — each delivery is debited there.
Do the good pallets cost me anything?+
The pallets you receive are invoiced at exchange terms, because your defective pallets handed in are taken into account. We state the terms for your quantity in our quote.
Where can I see my credit?+
In the customer portal under “Tauschkonto” (exchange account): credit per pallet type, defective pallets handed in and their equivalent in good pallets, every movement with its document — exportable as CSV or PDF.
