Defective pallets back into the cycle.

We repair defective EUR/EPAL pallets to European guidelines — more economical than buying new and more sustainable than disposal. 35,000 pallets per month, with collection across Switzerland.

PROCESS AT THE PLANT

Four steps. Every pallet judged on its own.

Between intake and return lie a few working days depending on volume — and for every single pallet the decision: back into circulation, or out of the cycle as waste wood.

  1. 01 / INTAKE

    Arrival and first inspection

Your stock of defective pallets arrives in Oberbipp, where it is counted and inspected stack by stack.

  2. 02 / SORTING

    Repairable or reject

Each pallet is assessed individually; anything that cannot be brought back to standard is taken out and recycled as waste wood.

  3. 03 / REPAIR

    Reconditioning to EPAL guidelines

Boards, blocks and nails are replaced with compliant material until the pallet is fully load-bearing again.

  4. 04 / RETURN

    Release and return delivery

After the final check the batch goes back to your site ready for use — with a record of the quantities repaired and rejected.

A defective pallet is not waste — it is material with a second life.

A broken board or a shifted block does not yet turn a pallet into a reject. At our site in Oberbipp we bring defective pallets back into circulation in inspected quality — board by board, to clear standards. This saves you money compared with buying new and conserves resources that would otherwise be lost.

From the single board to complete reconditioning.

We handle all common defects on EUR/EPAL, industrial, one-way and special pallets:

  • Missing or broken boards — replaced properly, not patched up.
  • Protruding or loose nails — removed and re-set (a real safety risk in warehouse and shipping).
  • Twisted or missing blocks — replaced, load capacity restored.
  • Chipped edges with exposed fastenings — secured and reworked.

Cheaper than new. Better than throwing away.

A repair is as a rule significantly more affordable than buying a new or used pallet — and pays off even at smaller quantities. With 35,000 repaired pallets per month, we also have the capacity for large volumes and fixed delivery dates.

HOW THE PRICE IS SET

What determines the price per pallet.

There is no flat rate for a repair: the effort depends on what is actually missing from each individual pallet. After inspection at the plant we confirm the price per unit.

What determines the price per pallet.
FactorEffect on the price
Damage patternA missing top board costs less material and time than a block replacement with a broken bottom board.
Quantity per batchLarger, uniform batches run more efficiently through the line than isolated small quantities.
Share of rejectsNon-repairable pallets still cause handling and recycling, without a pallet coming back.
Pallet typeEUR/EPAL pallets run through the standard process; industrial and special sizes need their own material and set-up time.
TransportDistance, load size and whether you deliver yourself determine the transport share.
