What does a Euro pallet cost in Switzerland?

There is no single price. Four factors decide it: the condition class (A, B or C), the quantity ordered, the delivery distance from our Oberbipp yard and current market availability. Our shop lists unit prices and volume prices for each condition class, as of August 2026.

The four price factors

Condition class
A, B or C — the better the condition, the higher the unit price.
Quantity
Volume prices apply from larger quantities upwards.
Delivery distance
Collection in Oberbipp is free; delivery is calculated by distance.
Availability
The market for used pallets fluctuates with the season.

Standards

What are the dimensions of an EPAL Euro pallet?

The EPAL Euro pallet measures 1200 × 800 × 144 millimetres. Its own weight is around 25 kilograms, slightly more or less depending on the moisture in the timber. The permitted dynamic payload is up to 1500 kilograms, meaning goods moved together with the pallet. These figures apply to the standardised, EPAL-inspected version.

Export

When is ISPM 15 required?

ISPM 15 applies to wood packaging in international trade: pallets, crates and dunnage made of solid timber. The wood must be heat treated or fumigated and then carry the IPPC mark. Requirements differ by destination country and change over time; clarify the target market with us before you ship.

Pooling

How does a pallet account work?

A pallet account runs your stock like a bank account. Every collection at your site is credited, every delivery debited. Each movement carries the date, place, quantity, condition class and a document reference. The balance always follows from the individual entries; you can view it in the customer portal at any time and export it.

Regulation

What does the PPWR change?

The PPWR is the European packaging regulation. It reorganises the requirements for packaging and strengthens reuse, recyclability and documentation duties. Switzerland is not directly bound by it; exporting companies are affected indirectly through their customers. Timelines and detailed rules are still developing — we review your specific situation with you.
