Frequently asked questions
Everything about buying, purchasing, prices, delivery, pooling, repair and rental of pallets in Switzerland.
- Where can I buy Euro pallets in Switzerland?
- At Paletten-Pool you can buy new and used EPAL Euro pallets (classes A, B and C) as well as SBB/ÖBB exchange frames and industrial pallets — directly in the online shop or on request. Delivery is available throughout Switzerland within 48 hours from our site in Oberbipp, and self-collection is free of charge.
- What do Euro pallets cost — how high are the pallet prices?
- The price depends on the condition (new or class A/B/C) and on the quantity. You can see the current unit prices at any time in the online shop; from larger quantities onwards, staggered volume discounts apply. Business customers see their contract prices after logging in.
- What do the pallet classes A, B, C and defective mean?
- Class A pallets are lightly used and flawless both technically and visually. Class B pallets are fully load-bearing used pallets with signs of wear. Class C is heavily used but still functional. Defective pallets go to our repair workshop and return to the cycle as reconditioned pallets.
- How can I sell used pallets?
- Send us the quantity, type and condition (a photo is welcome) by phone or via the contact form. We assess them according to EPAL criteria, make you a fair offer in CHF and arrange the collection. We buy pallets throughout Switzerland.
- From what quantity does Paletten-Pool collect pallets?
- We offer free collection to business customers from around 100 pallets. Smaller quantities can be delivered to us or collected for a flat transport fee. You can calculate the exact delivery price in advance in the delivery cost calculator.
- How long does delivery take and do you deliver throughout Switzerland?
- Yes, we deliver throughout Switzerland with our own fleet and with transport partners. The target window for deliveries is 48 hours from order confirmation. For urgent dates we are happy to arrange an individual schedule with you.
- What does delivery of the pallets cost?
- The delivery costs depend on the quantity and the distance from Oberbipp. In the delivery cost calculator you enter the number of units and the kilometres and immediately receive an indicative price. Self-collection in Oberbipp is always free of charge.
- How can I pay?
- You order on invoice in the shop: we confirm availability, delivery date and price within 1 working day, and payment follows afterwards. Business customers receive their pallets at the agreed terms. For consumers, all prices include 8.1 % VAT.
- What is pallet pooling and how does it work?
- With full pooling we collect your pallets, sort and repair them at our site, and deliver them out again. Your pallet account with balance, sorting reports and invoices is transparently available at any time in the customer portal.
- Is it worth renting pallets instead of buying them?
- Renting is worthwhile if you only need pallets seasonally or for individual projects — without tying up capital and without storage risk. We are happy to advise you on whether buying, pooling or renting is the most economical option for your needs.
- Does Paletten-Pool repair defective pallets?
- Yes. At our site in Oberbipp we repair around 35'000 pallets per month in accordance with EPAL guidelines. Defective pallets are inspected, reconditioned and return to the cycle as fully load-bearing pallets.
- Can private individuals also buy single pallets?
- Yes, private customers can buy from just 1 pallet. Self-collection in Oberbipp is free of charge; for shipping small quantities a transport surcharge applies. The prices in the shop include VAT.
